Following a significant win in a Kentucky Lottery Instant Play game, one Louisville resident is now six figures richer.
According to lottery authorities, the player, who was only given the name S. Harris, won a total of $283,486.83 while playing the Celtic Coins Jackpot instant play game on the Kentucky Lottery website.

According to officials, Harris signed up on Monday night about midnight and staked $5 on the Celtic Coins Jackpot game. Harris reported that a winning notification from the Kentucky Lottery appeared immediately after he saw five keys appear on the screen.

According to a lottery announcement, the game's progressive jackpot starts at $100,000 and rises with each purchase of a participating progressive jackpot Instant Play game. The sum of Harris's winnings was $283,486.81.
On Monday morning, Harris arrived at the Kentucky Lottery's headquarters and was handed a check for $201,275.65 after taxes.
According to officials, Harris also won $800 on the identical game the previous week.
